Mike Wright

After a successful and diverse career in large corporations, Mike Wright Co-founded a successful small business in Oregon in 1994 that provided Fortune 500 companies with tools to leverage their information assets for greater competitive advantage. After selling this company to a public company, he began working with early stage biotech and energy companies to help them gain traction in these important markets. In 2007 he became a certified facilitator with The Alternative Board® (TAB) and brought Strategic Business Leadership program to Oregon. With his partner Phil he has helped the leaders of over fifty small and medium sized private companies improve the performance of their companies and improve their life balances by improving their strategic decisions and focusing on disciplined execution, while continuously improving their business processes and relationships. The key to Mike’s achievements has been a strong sense of responsibility to those he has worked with and the communities they have served. He brings a collaborative approach that understands and focuses on achievements that benefit and strengthen organizations and people to enable them to more profitably serve their communities and markets. This approach has succeeded through career that included military leadership, leadership of major corporate programs and projects, senior corporate management, board membership of for profit and non-profit organizations and ownership of small companies. His experiences span operations, technology, marketing and finance. He bring a unique full spectrum perspective to the issues and opportunities facing each organization. Mike is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds an MBA from Portland State University.

Philip Fischer

Phil Fischer is a partner in Stratyx Business Value Consulting, which is dedicated to helping small and medium sized companies in Oregon achieve and grow to their full sustainable value by building strong teams, focusing on solid achievable strategies and implementing innovative and efficient operations. Phil has an exceptional record building efficient teams and developing people within those teams while serving as a Sales and Marketing Executive and Corporate Officer with several technology-focused companies. His experience helps companies understand their customers: who they are, what they want, and how they make their buying decisions. This, combined with his knowledge of product development, manufacturing, financial and accounting issues, makes him a valuable resource for companies who want to increase their top-line revenue as well as their bottom line profit. In addition, Phil has experience with start up company financing, positioning companies for sale, and has participated in a successful IPO. Phil earned his MBA from The Stern School of Business at New York University and completed degrees in chemistry (B.S. – Duke University, M.S. – The University of Michigan). His management experience gives him a deep understanding of how companies function, an appreciation of the factors critical to a company’s success, and the ability to implement strategies designed to achieve that success.
